Woutim. Wizard of a smile on the faces of sick children.
Woutim is a painting and project partner of "Paint a Smile". We are happy to be a partner based on our vision on entrepreneurship and the social responsibilities that go with it. We consider it a privilege to be able to help the organisation Beyond The Moon with the development of this project. Together, we conjure up smiles in hospital rooms for sick children and for the people around them.
Since its establishment in 2005, Beyond The Moon has been offering unforgettable holidays to families with a sick child.
Far away from the sterile hospital, these families could boost their morale and strengthen the family bond. Or rather, they could. Because the corona virus makes no exception for sick children and their families. Since the start of the pandemic, all family holidays have been suspended. That is why Beyond The Moon came up with the project "Paint a Smile" in the spring of 2021.
With "Paint a Smile", Beyond The Moon brings colour into the lives of families with a sick child.
Dirk, another project partner of "Paint a Smile", is a tough guy when it comes to artistic and decorative painting. He puts gems of interactive 3D murals on cold walls in hospital rooms or consultation rooms. Each 3D mural is unique but always has the same theme: a family of animals brings a family (holiday) experience to life.
Preparing the walls to perfection
But before Dirk can start such a work of art, we come into the picture. We have committed ourselves to prepare the walls to perfection. We make them perfectly even and provide them with a primer. This way, the artistic work will come into its own even better later on.
The result?
It brings a smile to the faces of children during hospitalisation. It also helps them to forget any traumatic experiences and relieves their stress, worries and loneliness.
Woutim is proud to be literally at the base of these murals. Hopefully, we will bring energy, joy and hope to children who need it so much.
